New Elaine Ray goodies have got me excited!

We have some great new beads and pendants in from Elaine Ray. These asymmetrical discs are very pop-art 70s and groovy. Elaine debuted these beads at her last trunk show and folks went nuts for them. We finally have them in the office and we'll get some out to the stores lickety-split (you can order on-line now!)The earrings above were designed by Tracy T. and I think she could have invented twenty different pairs-she was so jazzed by the new beads! I think I will nick the pair on the left for my very own, I have a dress they would look perfect with.

See all the newest Elaine Ray beads here on Ornamentea.com.

Handmade Market on Saturday

The Handmade Market is Saturday at Marbles in downtown Raleigh. There will be artisans from all over the Southeast selling some of the hippist indie crafts around. I'll get a lot of my holiday shopping done with tee shirts from ahpeele, housewares from Flytrap and maybe even a new lamp for my house from Shade That Lamp.

Oops, that's not really a gift for someone else, is it?

Confused about where to park? You can park at Ornamentea and take the RLine (for free!) downtown and get off at stop # R20 right by Marbles.

The Handmade Market is put on by the Handmaidens, a fabulous group of talented Raleigh women who make lovely things. The pretty pendant above is from Hot House Posey, one of the Handmaidens.
