Beaded Bezel Ring Project

Want to learn how to make these lovely cab rings? Join Ornamentea's Beadweaving Club on August 12th at 6:00 pm. For club details click here. The ring is constructed with a peyote bezel around the cab and a separate band. That green one on the left looks great on me, by the way. The club meets monthly and welcomes new members. Come a few minutes early and you can get help picking out your stone and beads. If you need special glasses to see teeny beads, bring them.

And if you get there early, please save me a seat! I really want to make this ring.

Clock hand earrings, for shiny times...

We have these new vintage clock hands in at the shop...and they are nice and smooth and black on one side but the other side, wow, it's all swirly coppery rust. I love it. These earrings pair the rusty side with sparkly Swarovski crystal navettes, splashy brass and a bit of stainless steel there at the top.

Mmm...gotta get a new dress for these.

Try It Tuesday Tomorrow with this filigree earring

Have you been to Try It Tuesday yet? Every week we have a $2 project all day on Tuesday. It is usually a nifty pair of earrings or simple necklace. This week we have a special pair of earrings; these filigree earrings are just the thing for your earlobes and the trick for putting them together just right is using an oval jump ring. Yeah, an oval jump ring. It causes the filigree to hang very smoothly and not get out of place.

So, come make a pair tomorrow for just $2. If you aren't in Raleigh, here's what you need:
oval jump rings
filigree flowers (oh, they're on sale, too!)
simple ear loops
