Sapphires for healing and beauty

Sapphires are traditionally the birthstone of September. With a color range from inky blue-black to pale blue-gray to green, yellow, and red, sapphires are one of the most versatile stones. Officially known by geologists as Corundum, this mineral is found around the world.

Healers regard sapphires of all colors as keys to creative expression and intuitive thoughts. While various colors are associated with the appropriate chakra, blue and blue-gray sapphires are most often called upon to deepen and extend meditation and creative journeys. Focusing on a sapphire crystal while meditating opens your mind to the depths of the universe, aiding in creative leaps and intuition.
