Lucky Bird Elaine Ray Beadcone Earrings
Make a pair of dangly earrings using Elaine Ray's newest lightweight ceramic bead cones, brass charms and head pins. I love the way these will work well into fall, but still look great with summery neutrals. I think I will wear them tonight!
To make a pair for yourself thread each bead or charm on a head pin and trim the head pins to various lengths. These are matched but yours don't need to be. Loop the end of each head pin and set aside.
Loop a piece of 20 gauge gunmetal wire and attach three of the bead or charm dangles. Thread the wire through one of the Elaine Ray cones from the bottom so that the straight end of the wire emerges from the top of the cone. Bend and wire wrap the gunmetal wire onto a lever back ear wire.
Repeat to make the second earring.
You can find the Elaine Ray cones, dice beads, bird beads, Elaine Ray Dit Dot beads and Antiqued Brass findings all at Ornamentea.com.
