Tonight the opening of Hang It Up! at NCSU's Gregg Museum will feature the work of faculty, staff, students and alumni of NC State. The show is always popular and the work ranges from professional and lovely to really raw and quirky. Think animated pizza box transformers or enigmatic watercolors of landscapes. You have to see it. The reception is from 6:00-8:00 tonight (October 22nd.) Hang It Up! runs through December 19th at the Gregg Museum of Art and Design in the Talley Student Center at NCSU.
Oh, the image above is from a recent gift to the Gregg of Native American Art from the collection of Drs. Norman and Gilda Greenberg. It is not student or staff or alumni work. It is really interesting to me, though.
