My trays in the Green Room

This is my table in the Green Room at Beads, Baubles & Jewels and those are two of my projects all laid out on the trays the production assistant used to carry them into the studio. I spent a whole day laying my stuff out and then getting my make up done. After a day of waiting I was so relieved to finally get into the studio with Katie that I couldn't wait to get the projects taped.

Now I'm heading back home tomorrow morning...the box is all packed up.

My episodes will start airing in May. Of course, I'll tell you when they are showing! If want to see when B,B&J airs on your local PBS affiliate click here.

Don't forget the De-Stash giveaway is still happening...and all the bloggers listed below are participating.  Go see them and comment on their posts, too.

  1. I wish I could be that organized! Love it! Hope your show comes to our PBS - I will have to let them know we need it- any ideas how to go about it effectively?

BBJ dvd's are great - only needing the 1500 series to day (Santa?). Thx for participating in the giveaway!

  9. Can't wait to see what you taped for Beads Baubles and Jewels! And PBS is one of the few channels I actually get here without having Cable TV!

I have tons of those sheet pans from my catering work...But I also have a lot of the half size sheet pans which would be the perfect size for organizing all of my supplies for a project.

I could keep my jars of beads, scissors, tools, sketch pad etc on this half sheet pan...and my actual beading tray with my bead mat and little piles of beads would also fit on this!

Then when I am not working on that project, I can put entire thing aside while attempting to keep my work space somewhat organized...these trays would even stack nicely! I love this idea, so thank you for posting the inspiration photo!

Besides, this is another form of repurposing all of my "stuff"! Kitchen items always seem to offer the best solutions for my beading needs! Now all I need is a speed rack to hold all of these trays full of projects!

  10. I think I'd be too nervous to even remember how to use my pliers if I knew people would be watching me! I wish B,B&J aired here so I could see your episode, judging by the supplies it looks like it would be quite interesting.

  14. A whole day for 15 minutes onscreen - that sounds like a recipe for getting very nervous! Glad your tapings went well.
