Ah, the oh so talented Kathy from Panopolie created this felt fairy after my class at last week's Slumber Party. She gave her fairy a bandeau top and a lovely petal skirt...I wonder if the other ladies got their fairies finished?These fairies are made over wire (pipe cleaner) armatures or skeletons with wool roving wrapped around the pipe cleaner. The wings, skirts and hair are all made with roving as well and the whole thing is felted mostly using a three point dry felter or a single felting needle.
