New Tutorial - How to patina raw brass with kitchen-cabinet ingredients

this tutorial tells you exactly how you can create a real aged patina on brass with a little bit of time and a few things you probably have in your kitchen cabinets. This mixture of ammonia and kosher salt will create a blue-green patina in just a few hours. The bracelet is sweet and vintage-looking. I imagine it looks like something you'd find in a old garden shed where it had been aging for decades. Perhaps the original wearer removed it to pot up a geranium one warm Spring day and forgot to put it back on...

  3. I can't wait to try this technique! I love using ordinary materials that are already laying around the house to transform something from nice to awesome.
