So sometimes you hear an idea and you have a GI-gantic AH-HA moment. Like using links of chain (the unsoldered kind) as jump rings. For fancy jump rings. Just think...jump rings that don't look like plain old jump rings. These earrings are by Tracy and Ndidi from Ornamentea...they aren't mine. The rings don't seem to make much of a difference in these pictures, but in person, they really make the earrings look so much more special. Yes, I had to give the earrings back. Darn.
how do you color resin once you have fill in something
ReplyDeleteyou can color the resin with glitters, pigments or powdered paints. I like ultrafine glitters like the Art Institute Glitters, http://www.ornamentea.com/Glitter.htm it only takes a tiny amount and the results are pretty spectacular.
