Elaine Ray's trunk-o-rama

We had a fabulous trunk show with Elaine Ray this weekend. Her beads were the talk of the shop and folks went wild, as usual. We had the Ceramic Connections class and everyone had a good time and made something using new (for them) techniques and materials. I think that we are going to try to have these style of 'laboratory' classes for every trunk show, it was a lot of fun. I made a tremendous necklace using one of her major collar sets and it looks good backwards and forwards. I had originally laced it with red suede but I wanted the lacing to blend more with the raw clay side, so I switched to rolled silk in terra cotta tones.
